Back in Action at the WIG Awards in London
Eyecon was absolutely thrilled to sponsor and attend the Women in Gaming and Diversity Awards 2021 at the brand-new Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square where we had to opportunity to meet so many inspirational women and get back to what we love doing best - networking.
This year, joined by Rosie Wood and Christel Marioni from Gamesys, we popped along to the Hippodrome Casino for a drink before the event to get into the party mood. Then we headed to the newly refurbished Londoner Hotel, where we entered a beautiful reception and dining hall. It was amazing seeing the Eyecon logo up on stage alongside our video playing on the big screen. The Londoner provided outstanding service, entertainment and catering throughout the event, which had everyone in a celebratory mood for the entire evening.
Not only were we lucky enough to attend, we also had some of our very own nominated for awards including Dominique Spanier, Young Leader of the Year, and Alison Beattie, Employee of the Year. And huge congratulations to the fantastic Fabienne Bourgaize who won the B2B Excellence award!
The WiG Diversity Awards 2021 was the most inspirational awards event I have been to in 25 years. Seeing so many impressive ladies in one place celebrating each other’s success made me proud to be a part of Eyecon and of how far our industry has come.
Congratulations to all the well-deserved winners and fantastic finalists – we are looking forward to attending again in 2022!
I was so honored and humbled to win the B2B Excellence Award. A huge thank you goes to the whole team at Eyecon for all the help and support over the years. I consider myself incredible lucky to be a part of such a incredible team. Thank you also the the organisers of the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards. It was an amazing event and to be in the room with such inspirational women was such a privilege.
