Eyecon Christmas Party
We are big fans of Christmas here at Eyecon and love nothing more that a good party, so this year we decided that we wanted to do something a bit different for our friends across the industry to wave in the start of the festive period and celebrate a great year of collaboration. We knew we wanted it to be a special event and that that would require the perfect venue. After much hunting around we found just that in The Little Orange Door, a fully licenced restaurant and bar, laid out like a regular home with conservatory, lounge and games room all beautifully decorated with Christmas Trees, twinkling lights, wreaths and tinsel. Here we were able to invite our guests to re-live their youth at our Christmas themed house party!
We encouraged all guests to wear their best Christmas jumpers and were not disappointed with the 50 guests all putting in an impressive effort with their festive attire.
Upon arriving at The Little Orange Door, all our guests were greeted in the conservatory with special Partridge in a Pear Tree cocktails, while the spectacularly talented Fransis serenaded everyone with her beautiful renditions of all the most popular Christmas songs. As if this wasn't enough to get everyone in the festive spirit a constant stream of delicious and festive themed canapés circled the room.
Later our guests were seated in the Lounge for a 3 course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. The tables were particularly impressive, laden with festive decorations, eco-friendly crackers and candy canes.
The huge success of the night were the handmade gifts that Eyecon Key Account Managers, Nicole Guilmoto and Fabienne Bourgaize handmade for each and every guest. The selection of felted and crocheted Christmas ornaments went down storm with everyone in attendance, with many people trading and collecting any they could find to take home. After the party we were flooded with photos of the ornaments being proudly displayed in their new homes. It was great to see personal touches like these being so appreciated, and perfectly reflects the level of dedication and passion our Account Managers put into everything they do.
After the feast, the tables were cleared away and the house party truly started. A DJ set up in a corner of the lounge while the party spread across the whole house with impromptu games breaking out, dancing and fancy dress costumes appearing.
We would like to say a huge thanks to all the phenomenal staff at The Little Orange Door. The service was impeccable, all the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. A huge thanks also to the incredibly talented Fransis for her fantastic performance which welcomed people to the party and truly put everyone in the festive spirit. Lastly a massive thanks to everyone who attended. We are so lucky to work with such a fantastic group of people. We are already looking forward to next years party!
