Eyecon supports National Bushfire Disaster Appeal

News

Eyecon was founded in Australia back in 1997. Since this time, it has opened offices around the world but its roots will always be in Australia, where the largest office is still based.

The recent nationwide bushfire crisis and extreme weather conditions have left huge areas of Australia completely devastated. It has been reported that more than 11 million hectares of bush, forests and parks across Australia has burned. To give some perspective England’s land area is 13 million hectares.

In New South Wales alone, more than 2,000 homes have been completely destroyed, leaving thousands homeless, and in Kangaroo Island alone an estimated 25,000 koalas have been killed. Experts have concerns that the island, which is renowned for its unique mix of animal and endangered species, may never recover.

With so many in need of help, including family of Eyecon staff members, Eyecon were desperate to help in any way they could. This is why Eyecon have pledged a donation, and have been undertaking further fundraising, for the National Bushfire Disaster Appeal.

Eyecon would like to thank all those who have helped with the fundraising efforts so far. If you are interested in making a donation to this worthy cause you can donate via the 'Find out More' button below.
